meant to go out and buy a bike and phone john today, but i unintentionally trapped myself in the house. i told mrs lee et al that i was going off to seoul to see reesie even though we'd had to call it off 'cause i wanted this free day to do stuff. so then >> the entire family and friends hung out in front of the apt block doors and office ALL DAY so i couldn't shift from the apt without them saying O.o? you went to seoul right? ...so i just hid in the apt and studied >> and cleaned >> and did handstands against the wall.

i turned the lights on about 8pm 'cause i thought that was a 'sensible' time to come home XD and then shot out to the pc bang about 9:45pm. i've got my study books with me 'cause i'm ramming my head full of vocabulary today. i finished my lesson plans for monday last night so no worries - oh, tomorrow i must remember to buy a black marker and some paper 'cause i want to premake a few sketches instead of having to do them on the board. yay for silly drawings XD

The way home on Friday night from school - another late finish at around 9pm - Mrs Lee and i had a minor argument. She told me i was talking too fast for any students to understand me. i said i don't talk as fast to the students and they understand me just fine, as do all the teachers. She said you talk too fast! Obviously just for her. So i spoke at a snail's pace. She thought i was being sarcastic - okay so i was >> - and started blathering at me about how she was the owner of the school [i will add in here that she has registered too many pupils for said school. We now need two more teachers - each to hold 6 15-16 student classes a day] in order to just break even. Right now there are six of us and she's blistering useless wibbles about cutting the 50 minute lessons that the parents pay for down to 25 minutes a day - STILL to get through the same amount of material O.o... the other teachers have said O.o uh we don't think so, honey... she honestly has no idea]... So anyway i said well you own the school, you don't own me, and with all due respect if you keep treating me like a child and repeating commands 50 times over when i hear you the very first time, i'm going to get snappy. i don't want to upset you, but i have a temper, it happens, yo. [and yes, i said yo ._____.] she laughed and said okay. -- and then proceeded to explain why - or potentially why >> - she's been so (s)mothering of me. Apparently she read somewhere that female teachers that go abroad tend to have bad experiences adjusting and blahblah, whereas guy teachers are okay. i looked at her - glad of the night around us for my eyes about ROLLED outta my head. 'Cause i'm about as ladylike and girly as a set of meat and two veg, baby. i said well i'm not really a lady. i'm pretty tough, so try not to worry, ne? i promise i'll be alllll fine. and she laughed, held her hand up for a high 5, and said okay, i'll promise to try not to worry. we high 5'd, and it was all good. honestly - she's an idiot, but she means well - hence why i keep bottling back and not just letting her have it. that and the fact that she is the boss XD.

The only thing that annoyed me last night, really, was that despite the late hour of getting home, she yanked me along with her to meet up with the friends - and despite me having told her earlier inthe week that my Saturday was taken up, and again in the car on the way home, she pointed out in front of BlackMac [mr gon!] that they were all going cycling tomorrow [they being mr gon et al] and did i want to go with them? i looked at her like O.o i have an appointment tomorrow with a friend. she said :o! do you? oh so you aren't free? oh :(... i said O.o I told you in the car and earlier in the week... i just wanted to make sure that mac knew i wasn't blowing him off randomly - cause he's gennnnerally okay. >> i say generally 'cause she told him - in front of me!! - the stuff we'd talked about in the car, and he says all patronisingly and teasingly 'oo jennipa a strong woman!!!'... so i looked at him like yeah and you're gonna fuckin' learn it, baby e_E. that group of people are decidedly odd >> i'm compromising my omfgwtf attitude, but i'm not going to turn into some simpering little whatshername just 'cause i'm in another country ;). it COULD happen... but then pigs can fly, too.

Tomorrow I get to spend the entire day in Mrs Lee and family's company x_X wish me luck.
